Jasper Johns, National Gallery of Art, modern and contemporary art. Dr. Jeffrey Weiss is the curator of the National Gallery of Art exhibition, 'Jasper Johns - An Allegory of Painting, 1955-1965'. His book 'The Popular Culture of Modern Art' was published by Yale University Press in 1994. He is also the editor and author of exhibition catalogues on Mark Rothko and Pablo Picasso. In preparation is the exhibition, 'Matisse - Painting and Drawing, 1935-1948'.
